Welcome to Grace Wylde's Cleocath Persian Website - Persians Cats

I had my first moggy kittens to keep my son company when my husband died. I had a black kitten and his sister a black and white kitten. The rescue persuaded me to give a home to a Manx that had been in the rescue for nearly two years.

One day the black kitten went missing and was never found. My son went to university and I saw a cream Persian kitten advertised in the paper and went to see it. You all know what happened next.

My prefix for my Persian cats comes from the Welsh Cath gyda Cleo that means Cleo’s cats. Champion Adraylo Cleojan was my first pedigree Persian cat. She was cream and very much a ‘lady’. Unfortunately she was unable to produce kittens.

My second cat founded my cattery. She was a very beautiful blue Persian who was very chatty and loved to be a mum. Her name was Boopet Cleoleigh Bluebelle. Two of her sons went on to be UK Grands.
